I feel like I have found a niche since my retirement from nursing in 2000. I was a Surgical RN for 40 years, my entire career.  Several years ago, I became interested in Canine Musical Freestyle. Like many others, I saw "The Video". I have not been more dedicated about much else in my life. I have been to many Freestyle seminars, many of those seminars were Carolyn's, which inspired me that much more.

Since 2001, I have been associated with Hollowell Academy of Dog Training in Lima, OH. http://www.hollowellwhippets-dogtraining.com/ .  I assist with training there and have trained several dogs. So with a head and heart full of freestyle, I started a Freestyle Class in Lima in January 2005 at Hollowell.

I have 10 year old Rottie, Boomer, who was my first freestyle partner. He is a happy dog and loves people.  In the summer of 2005, due to an unknown injury, Boomer started limping on his rear leg. Sadly, I had to retire him from freestyle.  I now have Sammi, a 7 year old Golden Retriever that is my freestyle partner. I also have  Buddy, a mixed breed rescue and 3 cats.

I love canine freestyle, music, and working with Boomer and Sammi and I want the whole world to know how much FUN it is!  I will continue to promote the MDSA and the sport of Canine Musical Freestyle
