unprotected scoresheets
Scoresheets are generated as a FORM in WORD. While the form is being developed it is in “unprotected” mode. Once the form is completed it is “protected” and saved in protected mode. Judges download the protected scoresheet and move around the form fields with the TAB key, navigation keys or mouse. The text prompting the form fields cannot be changed.
To modify a score sheet, an unprotected version of the document is required. Remember to change the date in the file name and in the footer of the scoresheet to avoid confusion when multiple versions exist.

Be sure to save the unprotected version with a different file name or in a different folder from the protected version!
